DR. OGWU JAMES ONOJA, SAN, FCArb was born on the 19th day of February 1968 at Idah, Kogi State, Nigeria to DEACON JOB IDOKO ONOJA and MRS. MARY OMADA ONOJA both of blessed memory. He began his formal education in 1976 at the Local School Board, Okpo and finished at LGEA Primary School Ofante all in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State. He was at Ofante High School, Ofante for his Ordinary Level West African School Certificate from 1980 – 1985. He proceeded to the School of Basic Studies, Makurdi, Benue State and obtained his Advanced Level Certificate (IJMB) from 1985 – 1987 and thereafter went to the University of Jos, Plateau State where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws, LLB (Hons) degree from 1987 – 1990. From 1990-1991, he was at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos for his Barrister at Law, (BL) which is a postgraduate and compulsory professional qualification to practice law in Nigeria. He was called to the Nigeria Bar on 10th December 1991. He did his compulsory National Youth Service at Nkwere Local Government Council in the old Imo State of Nigeria between 1991 – 1992. Dr. Onoja, SAN started his legal career with the firm of Humphrey Abah & Co, Legal Practitioners, Lagos from 1992 – 1994 and between 1994-1996 he was on his own as Principal Solicitor at Onoja Consulting Solicitors before proceeding to the University of Lagos for his Master’s of laws (LLM) Degree between 1996- 1997. From 1997-2000, he was with Messrs T.J. Onomigbo Okpoko (SAN) & Co, as Senior Counsel. In 2000, Chief Onoja, SAN started another law firm, O.J. Onoja & Associates (incorporating Onoja Consulting Solicitors) and as Principal Solicitor, he represented individuals and corporate organizations in Nigeria in all level of courts of record, arbitral panels and other out-of-court negotiations.

He is a Partner of the Law Firm. A 1994 graduate of University of Maiduguri, Borno State. Has been in active and unbroken private Legal Practice since his call to the Bar in 1995. Has worked in Otteh A. Idoko & Co., Port-Harcourt (1995-1996), Aguma & Co., Port Harcourt (1996-2001), J. K. Gadzama (SAN) & Co., Maiduguri and Abuja (2001-2004), M. A. Ebute & Co., Abuja (2005-2012). He was conferred with prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN in 2020. He is also the Deputy Editor-in-Chief Bar & Bench Publishers, authors and publishers of law/practice books. He was the 24th Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) in 2021 – 2022.

George Ibrahim had a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State in the year 2005. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2007. He went for his compulsory NYSC Scheme in 2005/2006 and served with the Borno State Ministry of Justice, Maiduguri. He holds LLM from Nasarawa State University, Keffi. He cut his teeth in the law firm of S.A. Agada & Co in Ankpa, Kogi State. He thereafter moved to Abuja and was the Head of Chambers during his time at Osinaike & Associates before joining the law firm of Ocholi James SAN & Associates. He stayed behind for two years in Ocholi James SAN & Associates in order to sustain the legacy of the Late Ocholi James SAN after his tragic death in 2016 while serving as Minister of State for Labour and Employment during the first tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari. He joined the firm of Dr. O.J. Onoja, SAN & Associates in 2018 as Head of Chambers and the position he currently occupies till date. He has appeared in all superior courts of records across various jurisdictions. He has great passion for Advocacy and Court room litigation. He is a skilled advocate, well versed in handling criminal, commercial and civil litigations, election petition, energy law practice, industrial and labour dispute, aviation, maritime and cabotage matters, corporate practice and security & investment. His areas of interest is advocacy, criminal and civil litigation, consultancy and general law practice. Oguche Agbonika attended Ahmadu Bello University and graduated in 2009. He thereafter proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus and was called to Nigerian Bar in 2010. He obtained his LLM from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2016. He began his professional career as a Corp Legal Officer in the Ministry of Justice where he served under the National Youth Service Corp in 2011. He worked in the law firm of Olagoke O. Fakunle SAN & Co Akure, Ondo State from 2011-2017. He then proceeded to Abuja and had a brief stint with Firma Nexus LP before joining the law firm of Dr. O.J. Onoja (SAN) & Associates. He enjoys advocacy and has flair for legal research and brief writing. His area of experience and expertise spans across civil law and criminal litigation, real estate, banking and corporate law practice, intellectual property, commercial agreements, oil and gas and information technology law. He is also a Managing Editor at Bar and Bench House, authors and publishers of law books and Head of Civil Litigation of the Law firm.

Abah Joseph Ameh, Esq had a Bachelor of Laws in Law from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2010. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in February 2012. He went for his compulsory NYSC Scheme in 2011/2012 in Maiduguri, Borno State and served with Lekan Akintola & Co. Thereafter, in 2012 upon completion of his NYSC he joined the law firm of Dr. O.J. Onoja, SAN & Associates. He is currently the Head of Corporate Practice of the Law firm and also an Assistant Editor Bar & Bench Publishers, authors and Publishers of Law Books.

Lois Chinaemerem is a distinguished alumnus of the Anambra State University, Igbariam, where she earned her LL.B. In 2023, She proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Yola campus. During her time at the Nigerian Law, she was elected as the Class Representative for the 2022/2023 session, demonstrating her natural leadership abilities. She holds the title of an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (AICMC) upon successful completion of training and also assumed the role of Associate and Editor at the Legal Ideas International Forum, a platform that seeks to be a major contributor to the development of legal education in Nigeria and promote the cause of justice in our societies. As a diversified individual, Lois holds certification as a freelance Copywriter where she creates clear and compelling content to reach the desired audience of her clients. Notably, she has showcased remarkable resilience, achieving a Second Class Honours, Upper Division from the Nigerian Law School in 2024, despite facing health challenges, a testament to her unwavering dedication and determination.
